Welcome Thomas Thunberg, Project Manager/Head of Alternative Fuels!

Scanunit is thrilled to welcome Thomas Thunberg to our team as the Project Manager/Head of Alternative Fuels. With an impressive 17-year track record in the marine and shore-based industry, Thomas brings a wealth of expertise in marine cryogenic systems and alternative fuels. His experience is perfectly aligned with Scanunit’s strategic goals and will significantly enhance our customer support.

Thomas started his career as a marine engineer on merchant vessels, spending over a decade at sea before advancing to Chief Engineer. He then transitioned to a shore-based role, where he specialized in LNG, methanol FGSS, and cargo handling systems for a leading Asian supplier of FGSS (Fuel Gas Supply Systems). Over the past three years, Thomas has been instrumental in providing aftermarket services and customer support across the European market.
