Scanunit Becomes Authorised Service Partner for CSSC HuaHai Marine in the Nordics

Scanunit is proud to announce a new service agreement with CSSC HuaHai Marine, making us their authorised service partner in the Nordic countries.
This partnership ensures that shipowners and operators in the region will have direct access to OEM-quality service, spare parts, and technical support for HuaHai’s advanced equipment. With local expertise and faster response times, Scanunit will help keep vessels safe, efficient, and fully operational.

Who is CSSC HuaHai Marine?
CSSC HuaHai Marine is part of the China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), one of the world’s largest shipbuilding groups. The company has decades of experience in marine engineering and has become a trusted name in cargo access and deck machinery systems. Importantly, HuaHai has a strong Nordic connection in its history. Until December 2021, CSSC HuaHai was the Chinese part of the joint venture with TTS Sweden, operating under the name TTS HuaHai. After the joint venture ended, HuaHai emerged as an independent global supplier, free to act worldwide under its own brand.
The company offers:
• Hatch covers for bulk carriers, container ships, multipurpose vessels, and refrigerated ships.
• Ro-Ro access systems such as bow doors, stern ramps, quarter ramps, hoistable decks, and side ramps for PCTC, Ro-Ro, ferry, and Ropax vessels.
• Windlass and mooring winches, available in electric and electro-hydraulic versions.
• Lashing systems that secure containers safely and efficiently at sea.

• More than 5,900 hatch cover shipsets delivered.
• Over 420 winch and mooring systems installed.
• Nearly 200 Ro-Ro access systems in service globally.
Since 2019, HuaHai has also built up a network of 12 international service stations, providing global after-sales support. With Scanunit now part of this service network, Nordic shipowners can rely on local support with direct backing from the manufacturer.
