As part of the next generation of Scanunit, Kristian Berg has been appointed as new CEO from June 1, 2016.

Former CEO Per Ekelund will henceforth serve as vice president and project manager. In addition, Per Ekelund will be a board member of Scanunit.

Kristian Berg is a marine engineer and has extensive experience in the marine sector with a background from Caterpillar and Wärtsilä.

Scanunit, which is one of the leading maintenance and repair companies in the Nordic shipping business, will with the recruitment of Kristian Berg continue to develop the business both domestically and internationally. With both Kristian Berg and Per Ekelund in management, Scanunit has created a strong platform for such a development.
